It Pays to be Good!

Oh yeah! I never deviated from my diet this entire weekend even though I was with my family! I honestly didn't think I could do it but I did. I think it helped that I received so many compliments. I was so good that I even used the stairs instead of the elevator--well, not every time but a lot of the time.
Today I weighed in at 175.8. I hate the point anything. I want to be 175. But, I'm really not complaining. It's just when there is a point something, I feel I am not really at 175. I am 175.8. Technically that is 176. Still not bad but I am so anxious to get this weight off and eat normal--somewhat normal.
Would you believe I have lost 25.2 pounds and I still can't go down one size in my pants? That is a disappointment. Christy and I drove up to NC and I was so excited to stop at the outlet mall to buy some new clothes. I did buy 3 shirts but all the pants were the same size so I didn't buy any. Of course this was at Chicos and they don't have a lot of sizes so I'm going to shop some more soon.

  1. Mary!! That's AMAZING!!! You truly look so good in the pictures I saw, and I spoke to Kathy on the phone and she told me you look amazing!! Especially sticking to it around everyone!!
    Have you been back to the gym? That should help? Are you still on the 'diet system' thing you bought or eating other stuff?? Whatever you're doing, keep it up!!! You do look great!!
    I wish I had truly dieted from last year, I've lost NOTHING!!

  3. And the results are in--another 1.5 pounds. I cannot believe how great I am doing. I feel so freakn good. I feel like a totally different person. I am now at 174.1 and I even cheated this past week. I had decided I would cheat when I lost 25 pounds and it worked out perfectly because it was our anniversary. Life is good. I am finally after 26 pounds down 1 size. Whew did that take some work.
    Nancy you look great! You have been an inspiration to me. I never thought you were fat but you started working out and got in better shape. I still need to take more time to take walks and stuff. I go to the gym to meet my trainer but I am not going in between like I should. It's been crazy busy and I have been sleeping in and going to bed late. I am trying to get back on John's schedule. It really works better for me.

  4. Fan-Freaking-Tastic!! I know, today I would NOT have gone to the gym if I didn't have my appointment. But I went, and I'm glad I did!! Of course my trainer says, no one ever said "I wish I hadn't gone to the gym". So, I do my 4mile walk with Cody on 2 of my days off. Fast walk!
