This is my breakfast--nearly every morning. I have 3 silver dollar pancakes--served on a salad plate so they look bigger. This is probably one of the best meals. I also get to use sugar free syrup. If this stuff does not teach portion control I do not know what will. Coming soon--pictures of my other meals.
So totally disappointed this morning. I was so excited about weighing in because I really thought I had done exceptionally well. I felt like I lost 5 more pounds. I only lost 2.4 pounds. I know that is actually good and the fact that I feel like I lost more should be good enough but I really thought I lost more. It was quite disheartening. This diet is less than 1000 calories a day. They recommend that you do not exercise because of the extremely low caloric intake. I still went to the gym twice and mowed the lawn--push mow. This really sucks! Oh well. I have no choice because it is the only thing that has worked so far and I already paid for a month's worth of meals. I just have to try harder.
ReplyDeleteOriginally I had thought if I could lose 2.5 pounds a week I will be happy. I need to remind myself that I did it! And the fact that I feel like I lost more should count for something. Shit this is going to be a long hard road. Something tells me I will be doing this a lot longer than 3 months.
ok, well, change your breakfast is my advice. I know it is your one happy meal, but it's not doing you any good. what could you have instead? I know it sucks, you are a really sweet eater aren't you?!?! But as you said, you've bought a months worth of meals, you're trying really hard, it will come! I know it's frustrating and aggravating, but just try this one thing this week and see what happens next week. It's an experiment and now you are a scientist!!
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha, these pancakes are from the diet and within the caloric count for the day. They are made with whey protein and whatever and believe me they do not taste THAT good. Just one of the better meals. Because I am on thyroid medicine I cannot have any soy protein for 3 hours after taking my pill so I don't have a lot of choices. I am going to order some eggs. Most of the none soy products are drinks and I want to eat something. Also that syrup is sugar free.
